No go on promotion

They gave that job to somebody else. This despite the fact that I said I was up to the task, audibly made arrangements to re-work the schedule, and have seven years in. Cindy tried to talk them into it, but I guess they had their minds made up on somebody else. Better luck next time I guess.

I'm not too highly upset about it... but it does make me ponder why I've stuck with this for seven years.
